Actor Brian Bedford Dies at 80!
The actor Brian Bedford, probably known best as the voice of Robin Hood in Disney’s animated film of the same name, has passed away at the age of 80. He shall be remembered!
What’s particularly sad about this is that apart from the child actors in Robin Hood who played Sis, Skippy, and Tagalong, Monica Evans (Maid Marian) and Carole Shelley (Lady Kluck) are now the only actors in the film who are still alive.
It was weird. I started thinking about Robin Hood, and then thought of the actor.
Oh ok, I actually did think of him recently now that I think about it because a few weeks ago I watched the 2004 TV film, “A Christmas Carol: The Musical”, the one with Kelsey Grammer. And I was surprised to see that Brian Bedford was in it as Mr. Fezziwig.

Yep, that is quite sad!
I forgot to mention the child actor who played Toby. That makes 6 living actors.
I had a feeling he was going to pass away a few weeks ago. Rest in peace.
That’s interesting. I haven’t even thought about him in a while.
