It’s a social media platform used mostly by gamers.
I’ve heard about it, but never used it. I have some friends who’ve said they’ve found some great communities through it, though. I say never be afraid to try a new thing.

I personally LOVE discord, but it can be a major distraction xD i mostly use it to keep in touch with friends and coworkers, and I do know if you’re thinking of starting one for a relatively small community they’re great and not too busy!
however, they can sometimes come with a lot more maintanence than anticipated if you get 100+ users, or some problem users!
