My Tribute to the Disney Canon-Forgotten/Minor Characters

Hey all,

As you know, I am a HUGE Disney fanatic, and hence I just LOVE the Disney animated canon films. And I’ve always wanted to do something as a tribute to these great films. I know similar-minded people have reviewed them, but I honestly don’t know how to review a movie, so I decided not to do that. I know that people have rated them in terms of “bestness” and/or favoritism. Again, I didn’t want to do that either. I wanted to do something different:

Can I write about songs from each film? Yeah, I guess I could; but that’s been done as well. Can I write about the history of these films? Yeah, I guess I could; but that’s been done as well. Can I write about the characters of these films? Yeah, I guess I could, but everyone knows the characters!

WAIT! Does everybody know the characters in these 50+ animated Disney films? Surely everyone remembers Snow White, the Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Maleficent, Cruella De Vil, Simba, Aladdin, etc! But, what about the other characters, the minor characters of the films? Granted they’re not meant to be remembered; but still time and effort and a plethora of drawings and animation were put into making them! These characters deserve honorable mention. Yeah, I think I’ll do that!

So, this is the start of my project where I will go through each of the films in the Disney Canon and talk about a minor character (or characters). It could be someone major, but forgotten. It could be someone minor and unmemorable. It could even be someone in the background that just caught my eye. Whatever the case, here’s paying tributes to those underdogs of the Disney classics! (Although the picture I used for the beginning of this post doesn’t really convey my goal)!
