Jane Henson, puppeteer and widow of puppeteer Jim Henson, died today, April 2, 2013 at the age of 78! She, along with her husband were responsible for creating the lovable characters, “The Muppets”, and she herself helped perform as some of the Muppets alongside her husband! She later stopped to raise her children, but still was involved with hiring and helping future puppeteers such as Steve Whitmire and Frank Oz!
We’ll truly miss her and hopefully “The Muppets…Again!” will be dedicated to her!

I’m ashamed to say that I am not at all familiar of her! I of course know and admire Jim, she shes unknown to me. RIP
I myself was somewhat oblivious to her as well!
I also had never heard of her. Talk about being in the shadows.
