In sad news, beloved actress Jean Stapleton has died yesterday at the age of 90! Jean Stapleton (1923-2013) was most famous for her role as Edith Bunker in the popular ’70s sitcom, “All in the Family”.

In terms of animation, she lent her voice to the character Mrs. Jenkins in the Disney film, “Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World”.
She’ll definitely be missed!
I heard that she was dead! I remember her tour de force performance as Edith. But honestly, I thought she’d died years ago.
No, she lived pretty long. Carroll O’Connor (Archie Bunker) died a while ago in 2001.
“She’ll definitely be missed!” Indeed!
I always get sad when a famous actor/actress dies in their ’90s, because I’m secretly hoping that they’d make it to 100, lol! The only really famous ones that I’ve known to make it to 100 have been George Burns and Bob Hope. I’m hoping Norman Lloyd makes it.
Oh, I know what you mean. At least Norman Lloyd is now getting close. So fingers crossed for him to make it (and hopefully in good health).
