Sony Animation’s “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” has taken the #1 spot in the US/Canada weekend box office with a gross of $35 million! I really loved the first movie and from the trailer, this one seemed so creative, mainly due to the designs, idea, and the plethora of food puns! I haven’t seen it yet, but I definitely plan to!

Apparently, this film is not doing well critically, so this year is gonna be MU vs Frozen.
I know Im gonna watch this movie for the Best and Worst Animated Film of 2013, but maybe I’ll like it.
I liked the first one a lot and a lot less gimmicky than I thought it would be.
Yeah, the first movie was surprisingly good and enjoyable.
I think we can safely say that “Turbo” and “The Croods” are no competition for the Oscars (even though I haven’t seen either yet). But, I agree with you that “MU” and “Frozen” are. Also maybe “Despicable Me 2” from what I’ve heard.
I saw the Croods and it is typical, pop-culture, mediocre stuff DreamWorks prefers to pop out, and Im gonna have to watch Turno soon for my DreamWorks review in like a month. I am already writing Forever After. I heard Despicable Me 2 might be some serious competition.
