Yesterday, the 42nd Annie Awards ceremony took place. How to Train Your Dragon 2 won the award for Best Animated Feature. For a list of all the other winners, check here.

The Animation Commendation 
Kind of sad that none of the traditional animated features won best animated movie, but I don’t see any award which I would consider not deserved.
Yeah, I feel this just solidifies HTTYD2’s Oscar win!
Wouldn’t bet on it. The Annies are mostly sponsored by Disney and DreamWorks. With the Oscar’s I always got the impression that the voters jump onto an opportunity to give the award to anyone else.
Eh…I feel because of the Annies and the Golden Globes picking HTTYD2, I feel that’s a good predictor.
But, we’ll havta wait and see.
I’m really surprised that The Lego Movie has yet to get an award.
It won some award recently; I think it was a New York Film Festival Award or something like that.
