Well, if you were a fan of the 2015 stop-motion Aardman film, Shaun the Sheep Movie, you’ll be happy to know that a sequel has been announced! There’s no release date set, but the film is set to start pre-production January 2017! You can read my article on it here.
Are you excited for a Shaun the Sheep Movie 2? I actually am! I really enjoyed the first film and thought it was a wonderful tribute to the power of silence in film and animation!

The Animation Commendation 
To be honest, I don’t feel one way or another about the news. Maybe because I just don’t care for British humor, but the film was very neutral to me, and I could do without a sequel.
I absolutely love British humor, which is probably why I thought the first film was near masterpiece level or at least really really good!

It was really good especially if you’re into British humor. I laughed a lot throughout it!
Yay! Thank goodness they keep the budget small on these so we could get another. I hope they get a distributor who will market it correctly. Aardman has had such bad luck in that department
Yeah, hopefully it’ll do better in America than the first film.
