‘Onward’ Teaser Trailer Debuts!

The teaser trailer for Pixar’s upcoming animated film, Onward, has debuted and man, do I love it!

I love the world it creates with mythical creatures we know and love! I love the idea that the troll brothers are going on some quest! I love the double moons and the unicorn pests! I can’t wait for March 6, 2020!

The film will be directed by Dan Scanlon (Monsters University) and feature the voice talents of Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.

What do you all think of this teaser? Are you excited for the film? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Hmm, to me the film looks awfully generic, not like a typical Pixar product. And yet another parallel universe that is exactly like our own modern Western world…. It feels kinda lazy…

      1. I’m not super excited about it –but I’ve learned to trust Pixar more than any other animation Studio. So even if on first glance it doesn’t catch my attention that doesn’t mean it won’t turn out to be great

      1. I’m not…the last time I had this complain the result was the good dinosaur. I still haven’t finished watching the movie because I just can’t get past the animation. Well, and the story is boring and full of “good old time” nostalgia for Americans of the kind I really hate.

  2. I thought the setting seemed too generic, but the pegasus= wild dogs gave me a small laugh. If not for the logo I would have guessed this was Dremworks.

  3. I’m with torchsandaardvarks. If I hadn’t known this was Disney/Pixar before watching it, I would have guessed it was Dreamworks. That’s concerning.

  4. I agree with everyone here; the designs are a little disappointing and DreamWorks-ish (and Chris Pratt *again*, really?) buutttt I have faith in Pixar and I’m getting a good vibe from the teaser. Monsters University wasn’t dreadful, although it was far from being one of their best, so who knows what to expect of this one. At least we know it’ll be beautifully animated!
