The teaser trailer for Sony Animation’s upcoming film, The Star, has debuted.
The film deals with the Christian nativity story from the point of view of the animals. The voice cast includes Steven Yeun, Kelly Clarkson, Gina Rodriguez, Keegan-Michael Key, Oprah Winfrey, Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry, Christopher Plummer, Patricia Heaton, and Zachary Levi, among others.
The Star is scheduled to be released to theaters on November 10, 2017. I personally have no interest in seeing this film. What about y’all? Let me know in the comments below!
Probably going to miss this one, too…
I’m a Christian and even I have no desire to see this film what so ever 😊
Lol, nice!
This trailer was so bad. That twerking dove sure screams the nativity to me…
Personally, I didn’t realize the dove was “twerking” until you pointed it out to me. I thought he was just…dancing with his backside, lol.
I guess you could say I’m twerking sensitive especially in movies about Jesus. LOL
At first it looked like a makeover for “Nester: The Long Eared Donkey.” But no, I have no plans to see this.
I haven’t seen Nestor: The Long-Eared Donkey and I’m glad we’re both on the same page regarding seeing this.
It’s really cute. It’s a stop-motion, in the same realm as the old “Rudolph” movies and such.
I’m definitely staying away from this one; the Christian Nativity story does not interest me in the slightest
Agreed – Not seeing anything here that really draws my interest. The funny moments weren’t really very funny…and the Nativity Story isn’t of interest to me.
