Ray Harryhausen has died today at the age of 92! Mr. Harryhausen (1920-2013) was known best for his work creating stop-motion animation for various live-action films including “Jason and the Argonauts”, “The 7th Voyage of Sinbad”, “The Golden Voyage of Sinbad”, and “Clash of the Titans” amongst others. His visual effects as well as himself will be greatly missed!

  1. Wow!! I always think of Jason and the Argonauts and Sinbad when I think of Ray Harryhausen. His movies were iconic for me growing up.

    1. Sad to say, I never really grew up with any of his work 😦 ! The only movie that I’ve seen with his work is probably “The Golden Voyage of Sinbad”, but I respect his work for how groundbreaking it was for its time.
