Well, it’s that time of year again: the time of year when a blogger gets tagged by another blogger.
And this time I’ve been tagged with the Liebster Award by THE ANIMATION FILES.
The rules are quite simple indeed. All I have to do is:
- Thank the blogger who nominated you.
- Answer the 11 questions that they’ve asked.
- Nominate 11 other blogs (with less than 500 followers).
- Post 11 questions for your nominees to answer.
- Let your nominees know that you’ve chosen them with a comment.
So, thank you, THE ANIMATION FILES!

Now, let’s get on to answering the questions!
1) How are you doing today? Well, I’m doing quite well…phew, that was easy!
2) What is your favorite Disney film? Cinderella II! It’s an underrated treasure. My heart beats in trepidation every time I merely intend to watch that glorious masterpiece.

Yeah, I am. It’s actually Beauty and the Beast.
3) What is your least favorite Disney film? Well, in terms of the animated Canon, Fantasia! In terms of animated non-Canon, umm…either Cinderella II or The Hunchback of Notre Dame II. And in terms of live-action, Prom! (Click here to learn more about what I thought of that!)

4) If you can bring back anyone from the dead, who would it be? Umm…It’ll be cool to bring Walt Disney back to life and show him all his films that came out after his death and see his reactions to them!
5) Waffles or Pancakes? Pancakes….by far!
6) 3D animation or 2D animation? 2D animation is my favorite of the two.
7) What’s your favorite game (video game, sports, board game, etc.)? Umm…not sure…chess?
8) Which Disney character is most like you? Prince Eric is most like me, because I’m also incredibly handsome and found to be extremely sexy by all the women I pass by in life.

Ok, maybe not. I honestly have no idea which Disney character is most like me!
9) What is the meaning of life? Don’t do any injustice towards anyone: God, people, animals, etc.
10) Have you met the muffin man? Is he the one from Drury Lane? If so, then no as I have never come upon Drury Lane.
11) What is 2579 times pi? A bloody large circumference of a circle!
Ok, I’m done with that. Now I need to post 11 questions to ask 11 other bloggers. Wow, this is like a chain letter. Ok, here are my questions:
1) What is the difference between a raven and a writing desk?
2) If Pinocchio says that he’s going to tell a lie, what happens to his nose?
3) If you can match any two Disney characters together romantically (who aren’t already romantically attached to each other), whom would they be?
4) If you could make a live-action version of any animated Disney film, which would it be?
5) If you could make an animated version of any live-action Disney film, which would it be?
6) How do you feel about movies being over 2.5 hours long?
7) Who are your top 3 celebrity crushes?
8) Who are your top 3 celebrities whom you can’t stand?
9) Which famous celebrity would you want to voice an animated character (who hasn’t already done so)?
10) Who are your top 3 animated crushes?
and that infernal question,
11) Did you enjoy Man of Steel?
Phew…almost done! Ok, time to nominate 11 other people. I hereby nominate:
1) animate this
2) COCO HITS NY
7) El Space—The Blog of L. Marie
8) BeeMinor
9) islamwich
and finally,
11) JUST A DAD WITH DISNEY QUESTIONS
Yay, I’m finally done! Ok, so you 11, answer the questions, make up your own, and send them forth to 11 other bloggers. Go now! And be prepared to hear unusual answers!
Thank you for tagging me. Unfortunately, I’m on deadline, so I’m going to have to just say thank you and look grateful. Can you see me? I’m looking grateful.
Lol, no problem! I appreciate your gratefulness.
Mind if I answer these questions here, even though I don’t have a blog?
1. OK
2. Beauty and the Beast
3. From what I’ve seen, Home on the Range.
4. Howard Ashman. I’d like to get some lyricist advice from him!
5. Waffles.
6. 2D animation
7. Soccer
8. Quasimodo. I’m not the hottest guy around and it seems like little to no people like me.
9. Live life to the fullest and do all the good you can.
10. No. Don’t plan to, either.
11. 8,102.167. Approximately.
Lol, great answers! Hope you get a blog soon!
I’m probably going to start in the summer. BTW, since I’m starting my Disney Canon project, could you tell me where I can find the package films (the films from “Saludos Amigos” to “Ichabod and Mr. Toad”) for rental?
I’d try Netflix. Or if you live in an area where your public library has movies to borrow, then check there.
Otherwise, sometimes you can find them on Youtube posted by random users.
Pancakes?? Waffles are far superior, lol!!
I’d have to agree. I like crunchy foods more than soft, chewy foods.
I’m sorry, but you’re wrong. MUAHAHAAA!!!!
At first I thought you were serious about Cinderella II…that and Cinderella III are probably the two worst disney films…absolutely horrible. Thanks for thinking of me on this. Trying to keep all the posts on my blog on the focused topic but I appreciate being included! You rock.
I haven’t seen ‘Cinderella III’ yet, but I heard that it’s actually one of the best direct-to-DVD Disney films ever!
That’s ok if you don’t do the tag; I understand. Just wanted to commemorate you and your blog.
I got to watch it with my daughter back to back with Cinderella II. The third one completely ignores everything that happened in the second one…completely ridiculous. You should watch it…if you are wanting to punish yourself for any reason in the future.
Yeah, I plan to. Watch it, that is. Not necessarily punish myself.
Yeah, according to Nostalgia Chick, it’s the least bad Disney sequel.
I’ll answer here if that’s ok. Thanks for nominating me btw
1) What is the difference between a raven and a writing desk?
I don’t like Alice in Wonderland.
2) If Pinocchio says that he’s going to tell a lie, what happens to his nose?
It explodes.
3) If you can match any two Disney characters together romantically (who aren’t already romantically attached to each other), whom would they be?
Princess Elsa and Mulan
4) If you could make a live-action version of any animated Disney film, which would it be?
I was going to say Peter Pan, but P.J. Hogan’s 2003 version is already fantastic.
5) If you could make an animated version of any live-action Disney film, which would it be?
The Rocketeer
6) How do you feel about movies being over 2.5 hours long?
In my ideal world, no movie is longer than 90 minutes
7) Who are your top 3 celebrity crushes?
Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander, and Lea Seydoux
8) Who are your top 3 celebrities whom you can’t stand?
Hilary Swank, Robert Pattinson, and… the guy from The Mentalist? I don’t know
9) Which famous celebrity would you want to voice an animated character (who hasn’t already done so)?
Let’s get Audra McDonald to sing in a Disney musical
10) Who are your top 3 animated crushes?
I only have eyes for Rapunzel
and that infernal question,
11) Did you enjoy Man of Steel?
I absolutely hated it.
Yeah, sure you can answer here.
Great answers and I too hated ‘Man of Steel’.
Thanks for the nomination! I’m going to answer your questions here, since I’ve already done the Liebster Award once on my blog, and would feel weird doing it again. I really appreciate the nomination, though!
1) I haven’t a clue… the raven/writing desk thing has always stumped me.
2) Well, that would depend on whether he actually intends to tell a lie. If he says he’s going to, and then he does, his nose wouldn’t grow when he announces that he’s going to lie, just when he actually tells it. If he says he’s going to tell a lie but then doesn’t, then that makes his announcement a lie and his nose would grow. Of course, if he does all this after turning into a real boy, then nothing will happen.
3) Wow, that’s a fascinating question. I think Elsa and Rapunzel would be a cute romantic combination. But I’ll have to give this some more thought.
4) I’d love to see a live action version of Lilo & Stitch.
5) Either 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or Swiss Family Robinson
6) Long movies don’t bother me at all. I don’t usually start to even notice it’s long until it gets near 3 hours. Though I think anything much longer than 3 needs an intermission, like the old days. It’s really tough to sit through an extended edition of Lord of the Rings without an intermission.
7) Emma Watson, Sophie Lowe, Felicia Day
8) Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Sacha Baron Cohen
9) Wow, that’s a really tough one. Let’s go with Harrison Ford.
10) Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle
11) No, I didn’t. I thought the first half was moderately interesting, and it had a good cast, but the second half was so mindless and infuriating that it ruined the film.
Thanks again for nominating me!
Thanks for replying!
Just wondering since you like Sophia Lowe, did you watch ‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland’?
And I love Emma Watson too…super gorgeous 😉 !
I did watch Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (I keep meaning to write a review, but I have another one to write first). She was the best thing about it, but as a show it wasn’t exactly stellar. She was also great in The Philosophers/After the Dark.
I watched it too, but didn’t love it. I much prefer ‘Once Upon a Time’.
Yeah, me too.
