We now arrive at Pixar’s Brave. Since I’ve reviewed this film already, I won’t go into the plot here. Instead I’ll just redirect you to my review of this film that I did in 2013 by asking you to click here. Basically, my thoughts are pretty much the same except that I don’t “love” this film as much as I seemed to back in 2013 nor do I think that this film was necessarily better than A Bug’s Life.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about the forgotten/minor characters that I chose for this film. First of all, picking a forgotten/minor character was a bit of a challenge. Should I use the witch since she’s not around much? Nah, she’s too important. Should I use the crow since he’s minor? Nah, he’s too annoying. Should I use Maudie? Nah, she’s too major of a minor character. Should I use that random guard guy? Nah, what the heck can I possibly say about him?

After going through all the options, I ended up choosing the two unnamed female castle maids/cooks/workers. They don’t appear all that much, hence they’re minor, nor do they do all that much. We see them mainly when Maudie sees Elinor as a bear and is panicking because of that. The women try to get Maudie to stop panicking and explain what she saw,

“What’s a coal barge, Maudie?”
“Quiet, let me describe!”
but it’s to no avail.

Of course, they soon come to learn what exactly has Maudie all upset.

And that’s pretty much all I can say about them.

Oh, go easy on me! There are too many main characters in this film. Let’s end this post once more by remembering those women who give their utmost every day to…make sure the castle is…run well…or something.

I haven’t seen this one yet
You should give it a watch.
