Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 10 years! I still remember the day that I created this blog.
I was sitting in a college classroom attending a computer programming lecture and was bored. So I pulled out my laptop, created a WordPress account, and The Animation Commendation was born!
8 years ago, I started this blog to share my love of animation with likeminded fans and I’m still going! I wanna thank all who support me and my blog!

Five years ago today, I started this blog, The Animation Commendation! Five years ago today, I joined the online fandom community of animation lovers! Five years ago today, I made like-minded friends with whom I could share my passions and interests! Five years ago today, without sounding too schmaltzy, my life has definitely changed!
Well, well, well…it’s been 4 years already! My, how time flies!
I started this blog as an outlet to share my love of animation with fellow animation lovers and it’s gone on to become one of the most important things in my life! In the past 4 years, I’ve done a Forgotten/Minor Characters project for the Disney Canon and Pixar films, made a few Top 13 lists, shared animation news with my readers, and hosted my own animation version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire!
In the past 4 years, I’ve come across many wonderful animation-loving friends and I’m truly grateful to all of you, be you fellow bloggers or readers! Let me know in the comments below what you think of my blog!
