Upcoming Animated Films in 2021

Well, 2020 was some year, huh? Not only did it affect our lives, health, politics, society, etc.; it also affected our film industry. Cinemas were closed for most of the year resulting in many theatrical films being relegated to streaming services or postponed until 2021.

We can all hope 2021 will be a better year, in every respect. To keep our spirits up, let’s take a look at the upcoming animated films set to be released in 2021. My Thoughts: THE CROODS (2013)

thecroodsbluray4

I really wasn’t looking forward to any of Dreamworks Animation’s films that were coming out this year. “The Croods” seemed stupid and boring. “Turbo” seemed stupid and boring. And “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” (which was pushed back to a 2014 release) seemed…well….I had no interest in it, since I wasn’t familiar with the original show that it was based on. So all in all, I wasn’t looking forward to watching any of these.

But when you’re “The Animation Commendation”, it’s a sin not to watch these movies and even more a sin not to review them. With that said, I ended up watching “The Croods”¬†when it came out on DVD. What’d I think? It was boring and I didn’t like it.

"Oh, that's it? Right, we can go now!"
