Good news, readers!
I have decided to do a 5th season of my Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-Animation Edition games! It’s set to debut next week and last until the end of the year, so keep a lookout for the forthcoming games!
The expert this season will be Disney and animation lover, swanpride, from the blogs, Honoring the Heroines, The Science of Adaptation, and Movies and Lyrics!
The contestants are listed alphabetically by first name as follows:
In sad news, famous animator and voice actor, Bud Luckey, has passed away at the age of 83. Mr. Luckey (1934-2018) was probably best known for his work at Pixar working as a character designer for many films including Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Cars, and The Incredibles. He even directed, wrote, composed, and performed the 2004 Pixar short, Boundin’.
His voicework includes the roles of Rick Dicker in The Incredibles,
Chuckles the Clown in Toy Story 3,
and Eeyore in the 2011 Disney film, Winnie the Pooh.
He also worked on many animated segments for Sesame Street including my personal favorite, The Alligator King.
He shall be missed!
Once again, it’s Oscars season! Listed below are my predictions for the winners of this year’s 90th Academy Awards ceremony! Like usual, I leave the top 6 awards for the end (Best Animated Feature, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Picture). The nominees that I think SHOULD win will be in red, the nominees that I think WILL win will be in blue, and if they’re the same, they will be both red and blue. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments below!
I know this post is a couple of days late, but the nominations for the upcoming 90th Academy Awards have been released. Click here for a list of all the nominees, but the animation-related ones are listed below:
BEST ANIMATED FEATURE:
The Boss Baby
The Breadwinner
Coco
Ferdinand
Loving Vincent
BEST ANIMATED SHORT:
Dear Basketball
Garden Party
Lou
Negative Space
Revolting Rhymes
What do you all think of these nominees, in particular? I haven’t seen The Boss Baby yet, but really? It’s Oscar-worthy? I find that very hard to believe! But, I’m so glad that Glen Keane’s Dear Basketball has made it to the list!
I will post my Oscars predictions in the next couple of weeks!
Hello, readers!
Well, I plan to start my 4th season of my Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-Animation Edition games next January 2018, so keep your eyes open for those videos as they come out. Below, you will find the roster of the contestants coming on to try their hand at the million! Five of them are familiar faces, whilst five are newcomers. (The contestants are listed below alphabetically by last name, not by the order of their appearance of the game show.)
Hope you enjoy this new season!
