Being familiar with Disney’s animated television output in the 90s, I was aware of the television series, Gargoyles, but never watched it. I never even heard any of my friends or peers talk about the show! So when the show became available on Disney+, I knew I definitely wanted to give it a watch! Having completed the series, here are my thoughts!

The actor, Ed Asner, has sadly passed away today at the age of 91. Mr. Asner (1929-2021) appeared in multiple films and television series throughout the years including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Lou Grant, and Elf.
In terms of animation, he lent his voice to many productions including A Christmas Carol, Foodfight!, Batman: The Animated Series, and Spider-Man. But his most famous voice role was that of Carl Fredricksen in Pixar’s Up.
My condolences go out to his family and friends. He shall be missed!
Today we look at a forgotten/minor character from Pixar’s 10th film and the 2nd animated film ever nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, Up.
