The Angry Birds Movie has opened up at the #1 place in the weekend box office grossing a domestic total of $39 million. It brought the previous box-office champ, Captain America: Civil War, down to second place over the weekend.

The Rainmaker Entertainment animated film, Ratchet & Clank, has opened up in 7th place in the weekend box office. Based on the popular video game franchise of the same name, the film managed to gross $4.8 million.

In news that I’m quite excited about, actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast to voice the character of the Grinch in Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming animated adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Set to be released on November 17, 2017, hopefully this will be the first film adaptation of a work by Dr. Seuss to actually be good! You can find more here.

Check them out below and let me know which of the two you prefer and whether or not you’re interested in the movie. I, for one, am quite interested in the film and prefer the second trailer!
The latest film in the Disney Canon, Zootopia, has broken the record of getting the highest-grossing opening weekend of any film in the Disney Canon: a whopping $73 million! Not to mention, that it has nigh positive reviews all around the board!

The first trailer for Finding Dory has debuted. What do you think? I’m not all that impressed, to be honest, as the trailer didn’t give me any new info that I didn’t know before. But, it was cool seeing new characters. In the end, the film isn’t looking all that interesting to me anymore.
Well, the 88th Academy Awards were a fun show to witness. Mainly, I’m happy that I broke my record and got 17/24 correct predictions this year including guessing the Best Film correctly for the first time in a few years, lol! Here’s to next year!

The teaser trailer for Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming film, Sing, has debuted. I feel this film can be kinda entertaining, although I can do without some of the song choices. I’m also interested in seeing Seth MacFarlane’s theatrical animated feature film debut. What are your thoughts?

Well, it’s that time again: Oscars season! Like every year, here are my predictions. The ones that I think SHOULD win will be in RED and the ones that I think WILL win will be in BLUE. If they’re the same, they’ll be a combination of both colors! I’ve left the big awards for the end. My record so far has been 14/24 (2013). Let’s see if I can beat it this year. Enjoy!
