My 97th Academy Awards Predictions!

It’s that time of year again: Oscars time!  Conan O’Brien will be hosting the ceremony this year, his first time doing so.

Here are my predictions for the 97th Academy Awards! The ones that I think SHOULD win will be in RED, the ones that I think WILL win will be in BLUE, and if they’re both the same, they will be both RED AND BLUE. I have left my picks for Best Animated Feature, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Picture for the end.

Upcoming Animated Films in 2025

It’s that time of year again, folks! Time for us to take a look at the upcoming animated films set to be released in 2025.

Keep in mind that I’ll only be mentioning theatrical and streaming films with set (US) release dates and that I won’t be mentioning any live-action/animated hybrid films.

96th Academy Awards Results!

Well, the 96th Academy Awards have ended and I’ve recovered from my abysmal score last year by predicting 13/23 correct this time! Not my best, but I’ll take it!

I don’t think there was any really surprising picks this year. I feel many categories were gonna be one of two winners and that may have helped with the predictions.

In terms of animation, Studio Ghibli’s The Boy and the Heron won Best Animated Feature and War Is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko won Best Animated Short.

Here are my predictions for the 96th Academy Awards! The ones that I think SHOULD win will be in RED, the ones that I think WILL win will be in BLUE, and if they’re both the same, they will be both RED AND BLUE. I have left my picks for Best Animated Feature, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Picture for the end.

How are we in December 2023 already? Didn’t this year just start?

Oh well, you know what that means! It’s time for us to take a look at the upcoming animated films set to be released in 2024.

95th Academy Awards Results!

Well, the 95th Academy Awards have ended and this time I didn’t get to watch it. That was probably for the best because surprisingly, I did the absolute worst in my predictions this year than I’ve ever done in my life: 8/23!!!

The Academy made a lot of surprising choices which I loved (such as Naatu Naatu winning Best Original Song and Brendan Fraser winning Best Actor), but I didn’t expect them to make those choices. Oh well, nowhere to go but up, I guess?

In terms of animation, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio won Best Animated Feature and The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse won Best Animated Short.

94th Academy Awards Results!

Alas, the 94th Academy Awards have ended and the biggest takeaway rom it is when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after Chris made a joke about Jada’s hair loss. Besides that, the ceremony wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, although I really hated how they ruined the We Don’t Talk About Bruno performance (and why did they perform it anyway?).

My score this year was 16/23 which is my second-best score! In terms of animation, Encanto won Best Animated Feature and The Windshield Wiper won Best Animated Short.
