Once again, it’s time for the Oscars! Below are my predictions for the 92nd Academy Awards! The ones that I think SHOULD win will be in RED, the ones that I think WILL win will be in BLUE, and if they’re both the same, they will be both RED AND BLUE. I have left my picks for Best Animated Feature, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Picture for the end. Let me know your thoughts!

My Thoughts: TOY STORY 4 (2019)
When the news was announced that there would be a Toy Story 4, I, like many people, didn’t know what to think. On one hand, I thought Toy Story 3 wrapped the trilogy up nicely and couldn’t be emotionally topped. But on the other hand, at least it wasn’t a live-action remake of an animated Disney film, am I right?
I went to go see the film in theaters and have recently rewatched it on DVD. So I figured, let me share some of my thoughts with you all. Just be warned that there are spoilers!
‘Toy Story 4’ Theatrical Trailer Debuts!
After a couple of teaser trailers, we’ve finally received our first theatrical trailer for Pixar’s upcoming film, Toy Story 4!
While I’m hopeful for the film and like some of the new characters such as the apparently villainous Gabby Gabby (voiced by Christina Hendricks) and her army of pleasingly creepy ventriloquist dummies, I’m not super excited about other characters like Forky or Bo Peep’s “stronger” personality. I’m also a bit letdown that this film seems to just be a rehash of Woody’s realizations of what it means to be a toy and loyalty/disloyalty to one’s human that he came to in Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3.
What do you all think of this trailer? Will you see this in theaters when it comes out on June 21, 2019? Let me know in the comments below!
Upcoming Animated Films in 2019
It’s that time of year again: the time we take a look at what next year has to offer us in terms of theatrical animation! Bear in mind that these are only the animated films with verified US release dates and that any and all dates are subject to change at any time. (And for the purposes of this blog, I am not including Disney’s upcoming The Lion King remake in this list!) Enjoy!
Pixar-Forgotten/Minor Characters #11: The Janitor

In 2010, we got the third chapter in what would become an awesome trilogy along the lines of the original Star Wars, Back to the Future, The Lord of the Rings, etc. Toy Story 3 was a massive success both critically and commercially. It was the first animated movie to gross over $1 billion in the worldwide box office.

It was a film that nigh everybody connected to emotionally. I personally didn’t cry, but I went as far as I’d ever gotten up to that point to crying while watching a movie…and that’s saying something.

BREAKING NEWS: Pixar Announced ‘Toy Story 4’ For Release In 2017!

In news that has taken fans, the Internet, and Twitter by storm, Pixar announced that they’re making Toy Story 4 and setting it to be released in 2017. It will be directed by John Lasseter and written by Rashida Jones…interesting.
For more information, see here:
What are my thoughts on this? I, along with mostly everyone else, don’t think it’s needed as the trilogy was wrapped up so well with Toy Story 3. I see this just as a resourceful way to make money. But, on the other hand, I don’t “hate” Pixar for doing this, although I’d rather they didn’t.

Pixar-Forgotten/Minor Characters #3: Mr. Konishi
Sigh…I really regret doing this Forgotten/Minor Characters project with Pixar films, not because it’s a task I find boring. On the contrary, it’s wonderful to re-watch these Pixar films as I’m personally a Disney fan, hence the Disney movies are the ones that I’ve seen over and over multiple times whereas most Pixar films I’ve only seen once or twice.
No, the reason I regret doing this project with the Pixar films is that it’s so hard finding forgotten/minor characters in these films. Pixar has mastered a way of creating a plethora of characters in their films while still making each character distinct, unique, and above all, memorable. This is an admirable quality except when you’re doing a project like this. But, that’s the way the cookie crumbles and the show must go on and (insert any other figure of speech/idiom/phrase that you deem fit).

Pixar-Forgotten/Minor Characters #1: Sid and Hannah’s Mom
Well, time for the first entry in my Pixar version of my Forgotten/Minor Characters Project and the first film we have to dive into is the classic, Toy Story.

Review For ‘Saving Mr. Banks’ Is Up!
My review for Saving Mr. Banks is up and can be found here!
First Trailer for “Saving Mr. Banks”
Well, as some of you may know, “Saving Mr. Banks” is not only my #1 awaited Disney film of this year, but it’s also my #1 awaited film of this year, period! Telling the true story of how Walt Disney obtained the rights for “Mary Poppins” from its extremely reluctant and obstinate author, P.L. Travers, when I heard of this film being made, I was ambivalent! I was extremely excited to see this amazing story reach the masses, yet at the same time, I was reluctant to see how Walt Disney and the other key Disney people at the time would be portrayed.
