The Rainmaker Entertainment animated film, Ratchet & Clank, has opened up in 7th place in the weekend box office. Based on the popular video game franchise of the same name, the film managed to gross $4.8 million.

In news that I’m quite excited about, actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast to voice the character of the Grinch in Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming animated adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Set to be released on November 17, 2017, hopefully this will be the first film adaptation of a work by Dr. Seuss to actually be good! You can find more here.
When we first got the news that Blue Sky Studios was going to tackle a theatrical film adaptation of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts, we were quite frightened and protective indeed! When we heard it was going to be a CG film, that didn’t help matters much either! Finally, after months of waiting, the movie was released and generally, people liked it! It was critically acclaimed and got overall positive reviews! But, what do I think of it? Read on to find out.

Time to review what many deem to be Pixar’s less entertaining film of 2015, The Good Dinosaur. Fraught with production troubles, this film received a negative reaction from many fans saying that it wasn’t really any good. Others say that this film is actually an underrated gem. How do I feel about the film? Well, let’s take a look.
The latest film in the Disney Canon, Zootopia, has broken the record of getting the highest-grossing opening weekend of any film in the Disney Canon: a whopping $73 million! Not to mention, that it has nigh positive reviews all around the board!

The first trailer for Finding Dory has debuted. What do you think? I’m not all that impressed, to be honest, as the trailer didn’t give me any new info that I didn’t know before. But, it was cool seeing new characters. In the end, the film isn’t looking all that interesting to me anymore.

Well, the 88th Academy Awards were a fun show to witness. Mainly, I’m happy that I broke my record and got 17/24 correct predictions this year including guessing the Best Film correctly for the first time in a few years, lol! Here’s to next year!
