‘Ferdinand’ Trailer Debuts!

The first trailer for Blue Sky Studios’ upcoming animated film, Ferdinand, has debuted.

Based on a book by Munro Leaf, Ferdinand is about a bull who would rather spend time sniffing flowers than fighting in a bullring. I’m honestly not pleased with what we’ve seen so far though. I feel the timelessness of the book is lost in this upcoming film. Not to mention: John Cena is the voice of Ferdinand? Really?

It’s sad that I’m more looking forward to the Captain Underpants movie than this film. Ferdinand is set to hit cinemas on December 15, 2017. What do you think of this trailer? Are you interested in the movie?

My Thoughts: THE PEANUTS MOVIE (2015)

When we first got the news that Blue Sky Studios was going to tackle a theatrical film adaptation of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts, we were quite frightened and protective indeed! When we heard it was going to be a CG film, that didn’t help matters much either! Finally, after months of waiting, the movie was released and generally, people liked it! It was critically acclaimed and got overall positive reviews! But, what do I think of it? Read on to find out.

Everyone’s favorite characters, Charlie Brown and company, are set to star in a computer-animated film due for release in 2015. The film is being produced by Blue Sky Studios (the same studios behind the “Ice Age” films, “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!”, “Rio”, “Robots”, and “Epic”).

My Thoughts: EPIC (2013)

Well, it’s been a while since I did a “My Thoughts” and just look at the movie that I chose to resume with!

As you may or may not know, “Epic” was probably my LEAST anticipated movie of the year! It was made by Blue Sky Studios, which is an animation company that I’m not fond of; it featured a plethora of celebrity voice actors, which is an animation technique that I’m not fond of; and it just seemed like such a familiar story!
