Well, we’re nearing the awards season which means multiple awards ceremony nominations will be announced soon. One set of nominations that have already been announced is the Annies, the “Oscar for animated films”. The first teaser trailer for Pixar’s upcoming Cars 3 has debuted:
What can I say except…Wow?! Everyone’s talking about how dark and gritty Pixar is getting with this franchise. I mean, seeing an injured near-retirement Lightning McQueen try to get back in the race does sound interesting! The film is set to be released in June 2017, so I wonder when a voice cast will be announced?

Well, this news will either make you happy or sad depending on how you feel about either film, but Pixar has announced that they’re swapping the release dates of Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2. The Incredibles 2 is now set to be released to theaters on June 15, 2018 and Toy Story 4 on June 21, 2019.
So if you’re a fan of The Incredibles, you’re getting the sequel earlier. If you were waiting for the Toy Story sequel, you gotta wait one more year. I’m neutral about both films, so this news doesn’t really affect me.

The latest Pixar film, Finding Dory, has broken the record for highest-grossing opening weekend for an animated film. Grossing $136.2 million, Finding Dory surpassed Shrek the Third‘s record of $121.6 million. Congratulations to Pixar!

Time to review what many deem to be Pixar’s less entertaining film of 2015, The Good Dinosaur. Fraught with production troubles, this film received a negative reaction from many fans saying that it wasn’t really any good. Others say that this film is actually an underrated gem. How do I feel about the film? Well, let’s take a look.
The first trailer for Finding Dory has debuted. What do you think? I’m not all that impressed, to be honest, as the trailer didn’t give me any new info that I didn’t know before. But, it was cool seeing new characters. In the end, the film isn’t looking all that interesting to me anymore.

I honestly found it underwhelming because it didn’t really give me any new information that I didn’t know before and also because I’m not 100% excited for this film.
