Yep, the beloved film, “Frozen” has accumulated a worldwide gross of over a billion dollars! It’s taken over “The Lion King” as the second highest-grossing animated film ever (not taking inflation into consideration, of course) after “Toy Story 3”. I, for one, didn’t think that this film would cross the billion dollar mark, but I’m glad it did! I feel happy that a film from the official Disney Canon has joined the ranks with the other 17 films that have made over a billion dollars worldwide!

My 86th Academy Awards Predictions!
Hello all, once again, it’s that time of year when the Oscars are only a week away and many film fanatics make their predictions about who will win. And I’m no exception, although I haven’t been all that successful. My record so far is 9 correct (out of like 30), and 30% ain’t bad, right?
So below you’ll find the list of the nominees as well as my predicted winners. The nominees that I think SHOULD win will be in red, the nominees that I think WILL win will be in blue, and if they’re the same, they’ll be both RED AND BLUE.
One last thing, I always leave the “Top 6” categories (Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Animated Feature) for the end. Continue reading “My 86th Academy Awards Predictions!”

“Frozen” Heats Up Box Office With $93 Million Weekend Debut
Disney’s much-anticipated and critically acclaimed entry in its animated Canon, “Frozen”, has proven that it DOES have the potential to be a modern classic. Opening in the 2nd place slot of the U.S./Canada box office, “Frozen” amassed a whopper $93 million, breaking the record for biggest Thanksgiving weekend debut!
Have you seen it? If so, what did you think? Do you agree with the statement that it’s this generation’s “Beauty and the Beast”? If you haven’t seen it, do you plan on seeing it and when?
I haven’t seen it yet, but I do really want to see it soon.

Official “Frozen” Trailer Released
We’ve FINALLY gotten a full-length theatrical trailer for Disney’s upcoming animated film to be added to their canon, “Frozen”. Yes, we had a teaser trailer before, but it didn’t show anything about the plot. So what do you all think about the trailer? And what do you think about the movie now that you’ve seen the trailer?
Personally, I’m not extremely impressed. It seems that much of the film is focusing on the journey taken by the characters Anna and Kristoff more than the actual plot and goings-on in the film. Then again, that’s just how it SEEMS to me.
I also am not sure what to think of Kristen Bell’s voice acting as Anna. And I’m really disappointed that we couldn’t hear Idina Menzel’s voice nor hear her sing one of the many songs in the trailer.
All in all, I’m skeptical about whether this film will be a hit or not. Nevertheless, I will DEFINITELY try to see it!
Note to self: Use Olaf’s “Worth Melting For” line on future wife; maybe she’ll like it.
“Frozen” Teaser Trailer and Images…Finally
We all love Disney’s animated features: “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Pinocchio”, “Cinderella”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Lion King”, “Tangled”, etc. I love them so much that I dedicated the bulk of my blog to a project about these animated features of the Disney Canon! So the question that people always wonder is, “What is the next animated feature in the Disney Canon going to be?”. Continue reading ““Frozen” Teaser Trailer and Images…Finally”
