The first teaser trailer for Pixar’s upcoming Cars 3 has debuted:
What can I say except…Wow?! Everyone’s talking about how dark and gritty Pixar is getting with this franchise. I mean, seeing an injured near-retirement Lightning McQueen try to get back in the race does sound interesting! The film is set to be released in June 2017, so I wonder when a voice cast will be announced?

Well, well, well…it’s been 4 years already! My, how time flies!
I started this blog as an outlet to share my love of animation with fellow animation lovers and it’s gone on to become one of the most important things in my life! Happy 4th Blogoversary to me!
Well, this news will either make you happy or sad depending on how you feel about either film, but Pixar has announced that they’re swapping the release dates of Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2. The Incredibles 2 is now set to be released to theaters on June 15, 2018 and Toy Story 4 on June 21, 2019.
So if you’re a fan of The Incredibles, you’re getting the sequel earlier. If you were waiting for the Toy Story sequel, you gotta wait one more year. I’m neutral about both films, so this news doesn’t really affect me.

Well, if you were a fan of the 2015 stop-motion Aardman film, Shaun the Sheep Movie, you’ll be happy to know that a sequel has been announced! There’s no release date set, but the film is set to start pre-production January 2017! You can read my article on it here.
Are you excited for a Shaun the Sheep Movie 2? I actually am! I really enjoyed the first film and thought it was a wonderful tribute to the power of silence in film and animation!

We have our first trailer for the upcoming 2017 Dreamworks Animation film, The Boss Baby.
I personally feel that this is a story that more befits a short rather than a full-length feature. I also feel that many of the voice actors don’t seem to match their characters. It was especially weird for me to hear Jimmy Kimmel’s voice coming out from the father! But, I’m still open to the film and haven’t written it off.
What do you think of the trailer and the film? It’s set to release in the US/Canada on March 31, 2017 and features the voices of Alec Baldwin, Miles Bakshi, Patton Oswalt, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, and Steve Buscemi.
Today, the teaser trailer for the upcoming Sony Animation film, Smurfs: The Lost Village, has debuted. Due for release in April 2017, this fully animated film is set to be a reboot of the recent live-action/animated hybrid Smurfs films.
What do you think of this trailer and are you looking forward to seeing the film? Do you think it’s good that they’re rebooting this franchise? I personally wished that we saw more stuff in the trailer, but this is a teaser after all. But, I am glad that they’re rebooting this franchise and making it fully animated. Hopefully, it’ll turn out well!
This year, we got the 3rd entry in the famous Dreamworks Animation franchise, Kung Fu Panda. After being disappointed with Dreamworks Animation’s film from 2015, this was the film that I was hoping would lift my spirits! Did Kung Fu Panda 3 lift my spirits? Let’s find out!
During this Comic-Con, we have seen many trailers for different projects. One of these trailers is a new The LEGO Batman Movie one and it’s looking awesome!
When I had first heard that Disney was working on the movie that would become Zootopia, I was incredibly excited! It was going to feature anthropomorphic animals (which I love) and be part of the crime/whodunnit genre (which I also love)! When the movie was released, it received mass critical praise, made over a billion dollars in the worldwide box office, and was just adored by everyone! What did I think of the film? Let’s see!

Illumination Entertainment’s latest animated film, The Secret Life of Pets, has topped the weekend box office with $104 million! It also broke Inside Out‘s record as the highest-grossing opening weekend for an original animated film!
I’m quite shocked, to be honest! When I saw the trailer, I just felt this was your typical, silly, stupid animated film that you get every now and then. But, many people thought the trailer looked cute and were looking forward to seeing it!
