zootopia

When I had first heard that Disney was working on the movie that would become Zootopia, I was incredibly excited! It was going to feature anthropomorphic animals (which I love) and be part of the crime/whodunnit genre (which I also love)! When the movie was released, it received mass critical praise, made over a billion dollars in the worldwide box office, and was just adored by everyone! What did I think of the film? Let’s see!

Oh, there will be SPOILERS!

We finally got the teaser trailer for Disney’s upcoming film, Moana, and it’s looking amazing! The animation is gorgeous, the characters (especially the pig) look awesome, and it looks like a great deal of fun! I wish we saw more characters though, but this was a joy to see after the tragedy that happened in my hometown this morning!

AlanYoungscroogemcduck

The sad news today is that actor Alan Young has passed away at the age of 96! Alan Young (1919-2016) was an actor in films and TV shows with many knowing him from his role on the sitcom, Mr. Ed.

But, Disney fans knew him best as the voice of the stingy Scottish Scrooge McDuck in various films/TV shows from the 1980s to the present.

He also was the voice of Mr. Flaversham in The Great Mouse Detective.

Mr. Young, you shall be missed!

The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the naturalist club joke in the film as I know I won’t be able to watch this film with certain people who would find that inappropriate. Actress Susan Sheridan Dies At 68!

Sue-Eilonwy-1-WM

Voice actress Susan Sheridan has passed away at the age of 68. The actress (1947-2015) lent her voice to many animated shows including Moomin, Noddy’s Toyland Adventures, Jimbo and the Jet-Set, and Preston Pig. But, the British actress’s most famous role, at least to Disney fans, was that of Princess Eilonwy in Disney’s flop, The Black Cauldron.
