Blue Sky Studios’ film, Rio 2, has opened up the weekend box-office in the #2 slot.
Have you seen the film? What did you think? If you haven’t seen it, do you plan to?
Everyone’s favorite characters, Charlie Brown and company, are set to star in a computer-animated film due for release in 2015. The film is being produced by Blue Sky Studios (the same studios behind the “Ice Age” films, “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!”, “Rio”, “Robots”, and “Epic”).
What do you think of the trailer? Do you want to see the movie? Are you a “Peanuts” fan?
Well, the Annie Awards happened yesterday and I can safely say that all the predictions I made were correct (I only made 3)! “Frozen” won “Best Animated Feature”, “Get a Horse!” won “Best Animated Short Subject”, and Josh Gad won “Outstanding Achievement, Voice Acting in an Animated Feature Production”.

Well, 2013 is about to come to an end, so you know what that means!

No, it means that I’m going on vacation!

Yep, I’m gonna be gone for about a week, so I thought that I should leave you all with something before I go. And what better thing to leave you with than a preview of what next year has to offer in animated films!
So sit back and relax while we take a look at the animated full-length theatrical films that shall be released next year complete with synopses (if available), trailers/posters (if available), and American release dates (if available). I hope you all enjoy! Continue reading “Upcoming Animated Films in 2014”
The Annie Awards, often seen as the animated equivalent of the Academy Award, is due to have its 41st ceremony on February 1, 2014. With that deadline coming soon, the full list of nominees have been released today. You can find them here:

But as of now, I just want to look at my two favorite categories: “Best Animated Feature” and “Outstanding Achievement, Voice Acting in an Animated Feature Production”. Continue reading “Annie Awards Nominees Announced!”
Well, the official list of animated films of the year have been sent to the Academy Awards board in an effort to get the list down to 3 or 5 nominations. So if you were able to cast your vote, which of the following films would you like to see officially nominated for next year’s Academy Award for Best Animated Feature? You can choose either 3 films or 5 films. Here is the list of choices: Continue reading “19 Animated Films Submitted For the Academy Awards Shortlist”
It’s been a year since I started this blog!!!! WOO!!!!
I never thought I’d have the stamina to keep up with a blog, much less keep up with it for a year. Nor did I think much people would read it, but I have over 120 subscribers! Thanks so much to you all for making this a successful blog! Hopefully my other blog, “My Live Action Disney Project” will become just as popular!
In honor of my one-year anniversary, let me know in the comments what your favorite post on my blog has been and what your least favorite has been.
Thanks once again!
Well, it’s been a while since I did a “My Thoughts” and just look at the movie that I chose to resume with!
As you may or may not know, “Epic” was probably my LEAST anticipated movie of the year! It was made by Blue Sky Studios, which is an animation company that I’m not fond of; it featured a plethora of celebrity voice actors, which is an animation technique that I’m not fond of; and it just seemed like such a familiar story!
So, I finally saw the film and what did I think? Well, let’s talk about the film first. Continue reading “My Thoughts: EPIC (2013)”
Blue Sky Studios’ “Epic” opens up to a less than epic domestic box office opening at #4! Grossing $32 million, the film made about as much as was predicted by most “experts”. In terms of worldwide gross, the film has made about $77 million, so it may have potential to be a hit after all! Have you seen it? If so, did you like it? If not, do you plan on seeing it?

Well, I’ve hit another milestone!
When I started this blog, I never thought that I would have much followers, much less 50! So today’s post is all about you lovely people who make my blog what it is!
When I hit “25 followers”, I did a post thanking each one of them and giving each a shout-out with a description of them as well as a link to their blog. So I’ll be doing the same thing here continuing from #26!
So, once again, I’d like to thank the following people for following and reading my blog! If it weren’t for you all, my blog would be pointless. So without further ado, here are the names: Continue reading “I’ve Got 50 Followers!”
