Pixar-Forgotten/Minor Characters #8: Francois

francoisratatouille

Pixar’s 8th feature film is one hailed by many as a perfect film, not just one of their favorite animated films, but a film that deserved a Best Picture nomination at the Academy Awards. I personally don’t love this film all that much, but I definitely do like it. Which film is that? Ratatouille, of course!

Well, it’s been long enough since the movie’s come out that I feel I should do a Forgotten/Minor Characters post on Disney’s 53rd animated feature, Frozen. For a brief summary of the movie (for like the 2 of you who haven’t seen it) and my thoughts of it, check out my review here.

Trailer #2 For ‘Inside Out’ Debuts!

The second trailer for the upcoming Pixar film, Inside Out, has debuted and I’m soooo ready for this film!

What are your thoughts? I’m loving how we see the emotions of the parents too, but if I told my parents to shut up, I wouldn’t be sent to my room; I’d be dead, lol!

My Thoughts: PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE (2014)

planesfireandrescue

In 2013, Disney released their film, Planes, theatrically. Sort of a Cars in the air, it proved to be a modest success. Disney was so sure of this happening that they even planned a release date for the sequel BEFORE the first one was even released! And it’s this sequel we’re looking at today!

‘Penguins of Madagascar’ Doesn’t Fly Too High!

The-Penguins-of-Madagascar-1920x1080

Dreamworks Animation’s 3rd film of 2014, Penguins of Madagascar, opened in 2nd place in the weekend box office. Grossing a quite sub-par 5-day amount of $36 million, I wonder if the film will end up being even a minor hit.

Have you seen the film? If so, what did you think of it?

Pixar-Forgotten/Minor Characters #7: Chuck and His Team

carschuck

Pixar’s Cars franchise is considered to be the worst amongst Pixar’s films. And I kinda have to agree with that statement, but it’s no way to say that I don’t like the movies. They’re not bad movies; they’re just the least best of Pixar’s bunch.

My Thoughts: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 (2014)

how-to-train-your-dragon-2-dvd-cover-39

When How to Train Your Dragon was released in 2014, it was a huge hit! Both critics and the hoi polloi raved over it! I considered it my favorite Dreamworks Animation film at the time (later taken over by Rise of the Guardians)! So, as you can imagine, all of us (including myself) were awaiting this second installment in the trilogy.
